i filmed the dress run for Santa Spell last night.
the show went really well, and the cast have helped us put together a pretty decent show.

i'm currently uploading the footage to the multimedia computer and it looks great, unfortunately there's a horrible hissing sound from the soundtrack thanks to the air conditioner in the theatre!

this is not as much of a problem as it sounds as i'll be filming the show a couple of more times for editing reasons,. and i'm sure i'll be able to use the soundtrack for one of the other shows, but it doesn't make it any less of a pain in the arse!

stupid cheap arse cameras! i can't wait to get a better camera, but at this rate, i doubt it'll happen before Sebastian has started highschool!!!!

in the mean time: i'm writing a letter to santa.

have you looked into renting cameras? if you're wanting to do a small amount of high quality stuff, that's probably a good way to go.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what it all looks like - Hope you can fix up the soundtrack. What you were saying about different shots & angles & so on sounds pretty elaborate.

I've ordered a copy of the DVD - will we be able to order more copies later on? Or is it OK to burn our own?

you can order more copies if you would like more copies later, all you'd need to do is let me know how many, and i'll get onto it ASAP.

and yeah, the different angles thing was an idea that was had during the filming of Puss 'n Boots, and it looks really good being able to switch between the different angles and have close ups etc.

i'm hoping it all comes together really well also.

hehe love the name. looks suspiciously like pig-latin. or possibly even latin. im not too crash hot on the vocab
