in a fit of culinary creativity, i've decided to make pikelets.

i've never done this before, and so far things are wonderfully brilliant!

the first one is cooking away merrily.

i like cooking.

after lots of lazing around and creative nothingness, Kitsunegari now has her own space.

it's still being worked on and will prolly going through a series of changes as my mind changes, but it's there.

i've even created a bio. wow. i feel sucked of creative juices right now.

i know of a lot of problems with it, but any others you spot....

the best thing about winter is the making and the eating of yummy soups.

i just created out of thin air a creamy chicken and pasta broth with root vegetables, sour cream, milk, lemon juice, salt, pepper and coriander.

cor blimey it was DELISH on OH SO FILLING.

birthday greetings to [ profile] skinheadskippy hope it's smashing!

i've just completed a flashy new cover and disc design for my very own live DVD!!!!

the Kitsunegari experience can be felt by anyone wishing a copy of either one of my live DVDs.

the first is me performing O'Leary's Open Mic and my first paid gig at the PY HY

the second is me performing at the Golden Hills Motel in Bendigo, Victoria in early January this year.

give me a heads up if you'd like one by emailing me and we'll organise it.

i've discovered something totally annoying and less than unexpected while enjoying the BEST CURRY I"VE EVER MADE!

having now watched the first two episodes of KIMBA the WHITE LION (though i did watch it as a kid), i've discovered to my horror that Disney thought it was the perfect tale to RIP OFF for the LION KING. why i did not notice this before is far beyond my current [bloated belly] reasoning, but now i'm really upset. i thought LION KING was a great story, but now it just seems like a horrible clone. the only thing it's got going for it as far as i'm concerned is JEREMY IRONS. what a shame.

Dinner tonight was fun to make.

Trout in Riesling. Mucho funo.
unfortunately, the cream in the sauce was a little too overpowering for my liking (it was either that or the fact I really cannot stand to palate of ANY white wine), and I couldn't force myself to finish the entire meal without feeling my arteries clogging and my gall bladder calling for reinforcements. it was otherwise a very tasty dish.

now to attempt to complete digestion in a state of something or other. (let your imaginations fly).

til next....
