i never realised how much work it was to keep a website or how much knowledge was needed to get the things you want on it. i've discovered i now need to learn at least one more language in order to build an interactive section to ALL ABOUT BAS, and at this late hour, i just don't have the energy. then there's the whole studying for my learners thing, but that's a whole 'nother entry...
my point is, my limited knowledge is giving me the shits. i want to know soooo much more, but i don't have the facilities to do so at my fingertips. oh, i could fart arse around with online tutorials and LEARN NOTHING, as i've been doing recently in relation to my problem...

--it seems to me that the writers of these online tutorials expect you to understand WHAT THE FNORD THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT, unfortunately for my lack of IT knowledge, i get lost in half of the lingo.--

...or else, i have to pay for a tafe course (which I personally won't be paying for... gosh, slave for the dole CAN have its benefits), and with the bub, i don't have the time (or money to pay for childcare) for. so if there is anyone out there who can direct me to the right path to learning cgi and perl, i'd be more than pleased.
