i've got an information session this evening in relation to my working at the U2 CONCERT!!!!

so, despite all outward appearances, the bunny was stronger than the elephant afterall

well, i'm NOT going to be working at the U2 concert now. I've just received a phone call informing me that the band have cancelled their Australian tour due to a band members family falling ill.

doesn't that suck!

on a positive note though, my details are being kept for their reschedule in November, so it looks like i'll still get to work it, just not in two weeks time.

today is totally screwing with my head.

now to add to the whole U2 affair i've got a job interview at UQ tomorrow morning to work in the main refec!

while reading through the elephants notes, the bunny took a piss.

second show of Speaking in Tongues.
didn't watch it because was too busy trying to figure out why there was a light that shouldn't be there ruining what is already a shocker of a show! all night there was this horrible square of light glaring upstage OP, more annoyingly when there was supposed to be soft lighting. the problem being that it WAS NOT BLENDING LIKE IT HAD ALL THROUGH TECH AND OPEN! discovered why after the show was over...

X-fucking-Stacy! (brilliant show, you MUST GO SEE!)
they've refocussed one of our MAIN FUCKING LIGHTS! it's in more than HALF OUR CUES, and makes what was previously a technically competent show, a complete shenanigans!

add to this the fact that the house was a total of 'around ten', half of which was supposed to be press, of which only one showed (and was alleged to be Stage Diary, so doesn't really count). oh well, the guys (one in particular) can consider it an extra rehearsal, cuz essentially that's all it was.

i'm thinking i'm gonna kill Pip for conning me into saying yes. *sigh* oh well, there's always the cast party to think about.
