why was the monkey unimpressed?

Why do I feel like I'm the only person in the world who wasn't excited by the release of the new Harry Potter book?

*edit*: see, I'm not interested in reading the books (presently, I"ve more important books to read by better authors**). I have only very simple reasons for even wanting to see the films. They are: Alan Rickman, Jason Isaacs and Gary Oldman (thus far, I'm sure there'll be others).

my psychosis inducing neighbour is having the ONLY REMAINING TREE in his backyard cut down.
so above my musicals and REM i've got the annoying buzz of a bloody chainsaw to listen to.

not only that, but I'm on the SECOND go at building the Act two dvd *sigh*
it's going to fight me to the very end I can tell....

ooooooooooooh!
the second act is burning, and burning well AND fast....
fast because I'm using the other ocmputer which is burning at 8 or 16x as opposed to the 2x speed the burner on this computer was burning at.
I'm incredibly excited, for soon this part of my life will finally be over!
